Se remite en anexo llamado a candidaturas para las Cátedras de profesores
invitados para el año lectivo 2012 – 2013 del Instituto de Altos Estudios
de América Latina (IHEAL - Universidad Sorbonne Nouvelle – Paris3).



El  IHEAL atribuye cátedras a docentes e investigadores especialistas de
ciencias sociales en el área de América Latina.  Apoyadas por el Ministerio
de Educación Superior y de Investigación de Francia, estas cátedras tienen
como objetivo fomentar la colaboración científica entre Europa y América
Latina y permiten al Instituto crear vínculos con universidades
latinoamericanas y consolidar su red académica.



Asimismo, las cátedras tienen como objetivo:



- incrementar la colaboración en materia de enseñanza y de investigación en
ciencias sociales entre Europa y América Latina;

- sensibilizar a los estudiantes sobre los debates cruciales de la región
en el campo político, económico, social y cultural;

- promover los intercambios de profesores e investigadores trabajando sobre
América latina, sin importar su país de origen, con el fin de multiplicar
la transferencia de experiencias, de contenidos, de materiales pedagógicos
y de fomentar proyectos comunes (investigaciones, coloquios, cursos, etc.);

- estimular la confrontación de las investigaciones realizadas en las dos
orillas del Atlántico.



Los documentos anexos contienen las correspondientes bases para la
postulación y el formulario de candidatura.



La fecha límite para presentar las candidaturas es el *5 de diciembre de
2011.*



De considerarlo oportuno, y a los efectos de difundir el llamado, se
sugiere su retransmisión a la Universidad de la República – Facultad de
Ciencias Sociales y a otros centros universitarios.
